hurlingstats.com is a web site devoted purely to statistics about the game of hurling. It aims to provide a comprehensive and accurate set of facts and figures about hurling matches, hurling teams, hurling scores and hurlers.
Where do all the facts and figures come from?
The primary source of information for hurlingstats.com is the hurling match reports found in the Irish Times, Irish Independent and Irish Examiner newspapers. Other sources include GAA websites, match programmes and other hurling publications. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the statistics. Where are the statistics for pre 2004 matches?
As of now hurlingstats.com contains statistics for the 2004 and 2005 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship only. As times goes by I plan to add previous years' matches to the database. This takes time. A lot of time. Please be patient.
